Measure it, fix it, and prove it

Getting a product to pass — reliably and on the record. We build the measurement methodology, run the root-cause analysis and designed experiments, and prepare products for certification, including to Olympic Games standards.

The challenge

A product is only finished when it can be measured, trusted, and certified. That means a repeatable way to measure quality, a disciplined route from symptom to root cause, and evidence that stands up to a standard — whether that standard is a class rule for the Olympic Games or an industrial certification norm.

What we did

  • Developed a measurement methodology for product quality, including jigs, and drove certification for the Olympic Games (kitefoil).
  • Ran root-cause analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving on injection-moulded parts, supported by CAD and rapid prototyping.
  • Designed and ran a design of experiments (DOE) with laboratory testing, and prepared the product for certification to standard.
